Looking Out From With-In

Looking Out From With-In

Print Info

This day, myself and a friend chose to stay around the Oklahoma City Metro and not head west for storms developing along the dryline. We intercepted this dying Low Precipitation (LP) Supercell just north of El Reno. You can see in the picture that the structure has become detached from the main updraft and is slowly dissipating. The storms on the dryline ended up not being very photogenic, and staying in the metro was a good call, one of just a few for 2013. If you look closely at the LP Structure, one can almost see a pair of eyes, a nose and mouth, thus the name "Looking Out From Within" was inspired.
