Spring's Convergence

Spring's Convergence

Print Info

A day that showed signs of being a bust ended up yielding a few storms that produced some excellent structure. This supercell on April 13th, 2014 was Oklahoma's first tornado warned storm since May 31st, 2013, the longest streak without tornado warnings in Oklahoma's recordable history. This supercell produced a brief photogenic tornado that I missed by a matter of minutes.

So far in a year that has not given much, this is one of the best. Nothing beats a slow moving supercell in fields, far away from population.
